Our view
The dry, fresh, almost astringent scent of wild rose bushes that grow against all odds, in the wind, near the Atlantic dunes. A natural, invigorating rose, far from powdery roses. Its matt porcelain jar, white outside and red inside, gives off a soft red glow when lit.

The perfumer
Carlos Benaïm, a star of perfumery for over thirty years, who composed his first home fragrances at Frédéric Malle’s request.
Sizes: 250 g porcelain candle – €95
On first lighting, let the whole surface melt (about 2 hours), trim the wick to 3–5 mm before each use and snuff the flame rather than blowing it out. Never leave a candle unattended.
