Our view
The calm before the storm: Rose & Cuir opens on a crystalline rose, pure and modern, lifted by blackcurrant, timut pepper and Bourbon geranium. But behind the blue sky a storm rumbles: vetiver and cedar blend with a dark, earthy leather, born of an intense, bitter molecule beloved of the daring perfumes of the 1920s. Shimmering and sober at once.

All year round, by day or by night. An elegant unisex perfume with controlled sensuality.

The perfumer
Jean-Claude Ellena, born in Grasse into a family of perfumers, master of short, transparent formulas. The Éditions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, founded in 2000 on the model of a publishing house, give the greatest perfumers free rein.
