A tribute to Corsica’s sun-drenched wines, the generosity of its terroir and the warmth of its winemakers, SALUTE! captures the spirit of a gathering of friends in the vineyards, distilled by Marc-Antoine Corticchiato into this festive fragrance.
Bright and sparkling, the essences of Corsican citrus—lemon, grapefruit and mandarin—dance in the top notes, like the first thirst-quenching sip of a well-chilled Mediterranean wine.
Then a vine leaf accord reveals the rosy, eau-de-vie facets of grape pomace extract—the wine lees, perhaps the highest concentration of this precious material ever used in a perfume.
The scent of the land, the smell of a cellar lined with oak barrels, a flight of iris and powdery musks for the angels’ share: SALUTE! celebrates the earth and its fruits. A mirage... A feast.

"I love the connection to the earth, the terroir and its energy, expressed by Corsica’s vineyards. And I’ve always wanted to explore the affinity between wine and perfume.
While composing SALUTE!, I thought of my grandfather, who, like many farmers of the time, made his own wine. He stored it in huge, smoked-glass demijohns wrapped in wicker, which were then kept in the cellar. Hence the fragrance’s earthy notes, which I wanted to make airy, as if evoking the angels’ share.
I also had to master this overdose of wine lees, which I adore but which is difficult to control. It was the brilliance of Corsican citrus that enabled me to tame it."
