Its facets have something enigmatic about them. An oriental perfume, constructed with a minimum of vanilla, Noir Epices sails on a very spicy axis of nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, and pepper, to which are added bourbon geranium and precious woods, such as sandalwood and patchouli. It exhales an oriental, woody, almost chypre fragrance, whose elegant sensuality is never lascivious.

Perfumer : Michel Roudnitska
Born in 1948, Michel Roudnitska spent his childhood in his parents' laboratory. An art that became natural to him, which he likes to call "physical," his first mother tongue, in a way. Initiated into the art of composition for nearly 10 years by his father, Edmond Roudnitska, he later broadened his field of artistic expression by working as a photographer and director. Since 1997, he has directed the Art & Parfum creative studio, where he develops fragrances of great aesthetic rigor. Michel Roudnitska is one of the only current perfumers who, like his father, experiences his profession as an artist in the broadest sense.
Les Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle
Frédéric Malle founded Editions de Parfums on the model of literary publishing houses. The best noses of our time enjoy total freedom there to compose entirely original perfumes of absolute modernity.
A perfumery expert, Frédéric Malle selects these artists himself, then helps them give the best of themselves. The result of this collaboration is the finest perfumes in every olfactory category.
Together, they strive to push the creative boundaries of their profession. Perfume thus becomes an object of art.
