Never released, this secret perfume that only Thérèse, the wife of perfumer-composer Edmond Roudnitska, was allowed to wear, has become a true legend. Composed in the mid-1950s by Edmond Roudnitska, one of the greatest perfumers of the 20th century, this major accord is an essential testament to the elegance of another era. A top note of tangerine and melon, a heart of rose fruity with plum, and a base of cedar, vetiver, and leather give it its refined character. A cult and luminous perfume.

The Perfumer : Edmond Roudnitska
Born in Nice in 1905 and died in 1996, this “perfumer-composer,” as he defined himself, left a deep mark on his profession. Considered by many to be the inventor of modern perfumery, thanks to his taste for minimal formulas, he was one of the greatest "noses" in history. He began as a chemist at the Roure Bertrand Dupont laboratories, where he acquired an encyclopedic knowledge of synthetic and natural raw materials. This knowledge allowed him to develop the singularity of his extremely stripped-back writing. His meeting with Serge Heftler-Louiche, founder of Dior perfumes and grandfather of Frédéric Malle, was decisive. Together, they brought several mythical perfumes to life: Eau Fraîche, Diorissimo, Diorella, and the most iconic, Eau Sauvage.
Les Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle
Frédéric Malle founded Editions de Parfums on the model of literary publishing houses. The best noses of our time enjoy total freedom there to compose completely original perfumes of absolute modernity.
An expert in perfumery, Frédéric Malle selects these artists himself, then helps them give the best of themselves. The result of this collaboration is the finest perfume in each olfactory category.
Together, they strive to push the creative boundaries of their craft. Perfume thus becomes an object of art.
