From the fleeting impression of a bouquet of angelica gathered after the rain, Jean-Claude Ellena composes a subtle and fragile score. Deceptively simple, Angéliques sous la Pluie blends perfectly with the skin of the person who wears it. Composed of sparkling, spicy, and tonic notes—angelica root, juniper, pink pepper, and coriander—this composition rests on a base of musk and cedar. A discreetly enveloping caress. A water of emotions.

The Perfumer : Jean-Claude Ellena
Born into a family of perfumers in Grasse, Jean-Claude Ellena learned his trade from the age of 17. Then, from Grasse to Paris, via New York and Geneva, he frequented the most prestigious laboratories where he viewed himself as an autodidact. Greatly influenced by Edmond Roudnitska, he writes short, sparse formulas to enhance the subtlety and expressiveness of his composition. Inspired by everyday life, Jean-Claude Ellena likes to say that "perfume, a story of odors, is a poetry of memory, and above all a creation of the mind".
