As a child, Yves Coueslant, one of the Maison's founders, spent his summers in Do Son in Ha Long Bay. The sea breeze carried with it the intoxicating, spicy scent of tuberoses. Do Son has the persistence and intensity of a childhood memory in Indochina. A memory of flowers, all in voluptuousness.
