Marc-Antoine Corticchiato found inspiration for his EAU SUAVE during a visit to the Château de la Malmaison. It was there that Empress Joséphine, a passionate botanist, made the rose a French flower by developing an extraordinary collection in her greenhouses, including three varieties created especially for her: Rose Joséphine, Rose Pourpre and Rose de Vénus. The perfumer wanted to pay tribute to this collection, which has since disappeared. But also to the most iconic flower in perfumery, a symbol of femininity that is also prized by men in the Middle East…
